SLIME CARE GUIDE

WARNING!

  • DO NOT eat slime!
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nose. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Keep slime away from clothes, carpet, furniture, pets, and hair!
  • Do not use slime if you have open wounds, swelling, or eczema on your hands or arms.
  • Stop use if you experience rashes or irritation after handling slime.
  • Always wash your hands before and after playing with slime!

What is a slime activator and how do you use it?

A slime activator is essential for creating and maintaining slime's unique texture. Before playing, test your slime by touching it lightly to see if it's sticky. If it is, gradually add a few drops of activator until it reaches the desired consistency.

⚠️ CAUTION: Over-activating can cause slime to become too stiff.

Slime loves:

  • Cool temperatures – Keeps it fresh and non-sticky.
  • Clean hands – Helps maintain its cleanliness and keeps germs away.
  • Airtight containers – Prevents it from drying out.
  • Occasional activator – Small amounts when needed to keep it perfect.

Slime dislikes:

  • Warm temperatures – Makes it sticky.
  • Dirty hands – Leads to grime and germs in the slime.
  • Fabric – Slime sticks to fabric easily.
  • Exposure to air – Leaving it out for too long causes it to dry out.

Help, my slime is sticky!

If your slime is sticky or liquified, it's likely under-activated.

Quick Fix: Add small amounts of activator while kneading until the desired texture is restored.

⚠️ Reminder: Only add tiny amounts at a time to avoid over-activation.

Help, my slime is stiff!

Too much activator can make slime hard and stiff.

Quick Fix Options:

  • Knead in some PVA glue (e.g., Elmer’s Glue).
  • Add lotion or baby oil (avoid for clear slime).
  • Mix in warm water until the slime softens.

Help, my clear slime turned cloudy!

Clear slime often becomes cloudy and bubbly after use.

Quick Fix: Let the slime rest for a few hours or days. Bubbles will clear up on their own. For faster results, store it in a warm place.

Help, I left my slime out, and now it’s hard!

If you left your slime out overnight, it might be salvageable.

Quick Fix: Try adding warm water, lotion, or baby oil to soften it. If it's too far gone, you may need to start fresh.
